Studio Aiello Show
nice show last night at Studio Aeillo. this was a private birthday party for darb's boss at a very hip denver art gallery. we played three sets, 36 songs in all, i believe, and got lot's of compliments after the show. in fact, the mayor of denver himself attended the party--and from what i heard he loved us... with a political endorsement like that, i think that we could claim we're denver's hottest new band. :) it took everything awhile to heat up. the first set was a little blah--not too many people had showed up yet, and they had every single flourescent light in the place on--which made me feel like a zombie. once they got the lighting right and some more people showed up, i think the band finally hit it's groove and we nailed the rest of the night. our sound man jason digges did a fantastic job making us sound good in a tough room (all concrete walls), we scarfed up some great catored food, and darbs got a little tipsy and sang her ass off...

Studio Aiello Show
OK....Yes....darbs did get a little tipsy....(I forgot that eating is an important thing to do if your also drinking) Bubbly aside, we all had a blast and I thought the band sounded awesome after we got going. Chad's right, the first set felt like we were in a hospital room rocking out, then they turned the lights down and things were REAL good. Everyone danced their booties off and the feedback was great! My Band ROCKS!
Little Bear here we come, ya'll best watch out!
Hush up Now.
You hush up now y'hear. We don't wanna hear no negative stuff 'bout yo gig. Y'all rock!
